Spanish Chef José Andrés has launched his own selection of Spanish ingredients on OpenSky, an American online store where discerning customers can shop with celebrities and experts on special sales for their favorite products in an array of apparel and household item categories.
As curator on OpenSky José Andrés finds yet another platform to share his passion for Spanish culture, cuisine and the magnificent pantry of foods from Spain he will help customers transform into delicious culinary creations at home, with recommendations about tools, tricks and his favorite recipes, from the most traditional to the most modern.
The Chef’s initial selection features Galician Abella Honey, Fermín Ibérico Pork products, Marqués de Valdueza extra virgin olive oil, and Fagor cookware. OpenSky’s food section displays various categories of products and utensils that are reviewed on a regular basis.
Other OpenSky chef curators include celebrities Ming Tsai, Tom Colicchio, Lidia Bastianich or Bobby Flay to name a few.
Earlier this year, TIME magazine included José Andrés on the Top 100 list of most influential people in the world. The Chef was also designated new Dean of the Spanish Studies program of the International Culinary Center, the first program of its kind to be offered in the United States.
