Alimentaria 2014. International Food and Drink Exhibition

Alimentaria is the most important International Food and Drink Exhibition in Spain and it is ranked among the best in the world. The trade fair is held at the Gran Vía de Fira trade fair ground in Barcelona, in l'Hospitalet del Llobregat (Catalonia).

The Food exhibition is divided into thirteen theme areas: Intercarn (meat products and by-products); Interlact (dairy products); Mundidulce (cakes, cookies and candy); Expobebidas (soft beverages, bottled water, cider, beer and grape juice); Interpesca (products from the sea, aquaculture and fish farming); Expoconser (canned fish and vegetable products); Congelexpo (frozen products); Intervin (wine and spirits); Vegefruit (fresh fruit and vegetables); Olivaria (the area specializing in olive oil); Multiproducto (general food products); Alimentación ecológica (organic food); and Restaurama (food eaten outside the home).

There are also two buildings that represent the participants grouped by their place of origin: Pabellón de las Autonomías (participants grouped by Spanish regions) and Pabellón Internacional (international participants).
