PRODEXPO 2012

The Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), is organizing Spain's Official Pavilion at the PRODEXPO fair, set to be held at the Zao Expocentr trade fair complex in Moscow (Russia) from 13 to 17 February 2012.

Now in its 19th year, this annual food and drinks sector fair is targeted exclusively at professionals, ranging from wholesalers to retailers of processed items, beverages and products for the food industry.

Moscow's PRODEXPO trade fair is the leading event of its kind held in Russia, and its size makes it the largest in Eastern Europe. It is a major showcase for any company keen to break into the Russian market or consolidate its position there.

The PRODEXPO trade fair is visited by practically all large-scale distributors in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is also the fair of choice for operators in other regions, both within Russia and in surrounding countries such as Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia and Central Asia, so the geographical location of contacts made here is frequently not confined to the Russian Federation.

With a population of 144 million inhabitants, the Russian market continues to present excellent opportunities for imported food, including Spanish imports.
