The Museo del Pescador (Fishermen's Museum), opened in 1948, is in the Ercilla Tower, which has been declared a national monument. The museum describes the Basque coast and fishing ports, the life and customs of fishermen, trade unions, fishing boats and the fishing and sailing techniques used over the years. The history of the tower and its inhabitants is also displayed in one of the rooms.
