The Kokotxa restaurant is located in one of the most atmospheric parts of the old quarter of San Sebastian. It has a large dining room offering signature cuisine based on traditional recipes. Daniel López is head of kitchen and Estela Velasco is the floor manager. Both trained in the Luis Irizar Hostelry School, also in San Sebastián, and Daniel López, before opening his own restaurant, worked alongside great Basque chefs like Pedro Subijana and Juanmari Arzak. Daniel López’s intention in the Kokotxa menu is to offer dishes with a background of Basque tradition but with touches of fusion with flavors and produce from outside this tradition.
