Opened in April 2011, it is the second venue of Estado Puro gastrobar (bars serving signature tapas), owned by chef Paco Roncero. The premises is near Santa Ana square and the Letras District, one of the most beautiful areas of Madrid center. The first thing that surprises you is its designed interior (by the James & Mau studio) with a traditional Spanish comb as its centrepiece. The menu is an updated version of traditional Spanish tapas, with cold and hot options, salads, filled baguettes and half portions of rice, meat and fish dishes. Everything has been given the Roncero magic touch: ham croquettes, mussels in breadcrumbs, foie hamburguer, pig trotters with cuttlefish noodles, avant-garde chorizo sandwich, traditional Russian salad...among others.
