Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP)

The Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) is an European official recognition for an agrifood product from a place, region or country whose quality and characteristics are essentially, or exclusively, due to natural and human factors and which is produced, processed and prepared in the geographical area given in the name of the PDO.

Duelos y Quebrantos

Traditional dish from the region of Castile-La Mancha, composed mainly of scrambled eggs and an assortment of fried pork products, normally chorizo and pork lard or panceta. This high-calorie dish is traditionally served in a earthen dish, and is mentioned in Cervantes' Don Quixote of La Mancha.
