Luis Cepeda's career stretches back for decades. He made his debut as a journalist when he was just 15 years old. He has been part of the editorial staff of regional and national newspapers, as well as editor of publications while he lived in Mexico (1980-1989). He is now head of the Food and Wine section of the OnMadrid leisure supplement that comes with the El País newspaper. Before that he was a food and wine critic for the La Guía del Ocio de Madrid publication and contributor to magazines such as Sobremesa and Spain Gourmetour. He has worked as a consultant to television programs aired on Telecinco and Cuatro, and has written cooking books and travel guides.
