Julia Pérez is a food journalist and critic. She has contributed to food sections in a variety of women’s publications like Vogue, Mía Cocina, Gala and Elle, in specialist magazines like Spain Gourmetour, La Luna de Metrópoli and Vino+Gastronomía, and in Spanish newspapers such as ABC and El Mundo. In 2005 she received the Premio Nacional de Gastronomía (National Gastronomy Prize) for her work as a journalist and in 2006 the book she co-authored, Fashion Food, received the Premio Nacional de Gastronomía for the Best Publication.
