This combination of sweet and savory can be successfully served with a variety of wines, depending on the degree of ripeness of the cheese. Since the most usual practice is to serve it with well-cured cheeses, an interesting partner is a sweet Muscatel from the Málaga district of La Axarquía.

Ingredients
Metric System Units

Queso con membrillo. Cheese and quince paste:
100 gr quince paste
130 gr manchego cheese

Imperial UK Units

Queso con membrillo. Cheese and quince paste:
3.5 oz quince paste
4.625 oz manchego cheese

US Units

Queso con membrillo. Cheese and quince paste:
0.375 cup quince paste
0.5 cup manchego cheese

     
     
     
Preparation

Cut triangles of Manchego cheese and lay on top thinner slices of membrillo of the same size.
