In his Cookery Classroom at Cenador de Amós, Michelin-starred chef Jesús Sánchez runs gourmet food courses in which he aims to pass on all his kitchen secrets to gourmet experts and foodies alike. These semi-academic events are laid on for small groups and last around one or two days. The courses are held on Saturdays and Sundays in the old ballroom of the 18th century mansion that houses the restaurant owned by Sánchez and his wife Marian in Villaverde de Pontones, Cantabria.
Under Sánchez's watchful eye, each activity combines theoretical and practical content with hands-on experience for the students, who prepare and later eat a variety of dishes. Attendees are also given breakfast, during which they can try the sweet pastries made in El Cenador bakery while they exchange experiences and views.
For this new season, the chef from Navarre has designed a full program of courses, with the emphasis on cooking for a healthy heart and special Christmas dishes. These courses are the best way of having fun while you learn from one of the most respected and venerated chefs on the national scene and makes a very original gift so you can get a head start on Father Christmas this year.
Other courses scheduled for the Cookery Classroom at Cenador de Amós are:
