Museo del Turrón (Turrón Museum)

The Museo del Turrón (Spanish Nougat Museum) is a private institution that displays the technology used in turrón and marzipan production, which plays an important role in Jijona's economy. The three-storey museum exhibits utensils and explains how the products are prepared and manufactured. There is also a section on the marketing of turrón, which displays advertising memorabilia, packaging, etc. Guided tours of the current production plant are also available.
